The 'Kolosváry Bálint' Law Research Centre is part of the Department of Juridical Sciences within Sapientia University's Faculty of Sciences and Arts in Cluj-Napoca. The center’s name, chosen in honor of the renowned jurist KOLOSVÁRY Bálint, a specialist in civil law, reflects the members’ intention to continue the rich tradition of the Cluj school of law and their commitment to advancing legal research through high-quality and scientifically rigorous work. The main activity of the research centre consists of conducting scientific research, developing strategies and/or concepts for the improvement of legal regulations, training students and professionals in the legal field, and facilitating the transfer of information related to public policy in this domain.
